DTCP is an autonomous investment management group majority owned by its management team and backed by Deutsche Telekom. The firm has raised more than $5bn from corporate and institutional investors to invest in growth equity and digital infrastructure.
To support our strategic investment team T.Capital, we are looking for an Intern – Strategic Venture Capital (m/f/d) for a period of 3 - 6 months at our Hamburg location.
Tasks
As an intern, you will support our advisory team in the following tasks:
- Support the investment processes, typically in Series A - Series C funding rounds
- Screening and deal sourcing of investment opportunities
- Market research and analysis
- Financial modelling and data analysis in Excel
- Support of business development activity between our portfolio companies and our corporate sponsors
Profile
You have at least completed your Bachelor’s degree with outstanding results and have solid business and financial analysis skills. You are interested in a career in consulting, start-ups or equity investments and want to have more exposure to these sectors. Furthermore, you have the following skills and experience:
- Very good German and English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience in Venture Capital, Investment Banking or Management Consulting is required
- Previous experience in relevant technology and/or telco sector is a plus
